For payouts, we collect bank details (bank name, account number, account name). For purchases, payment information is processed by our payment partners (Paystack/Flutterwave) - we never store your card details.

Submission Data

Design files, titles, descriptions, and metadata you upload to competitions.

Usage Data

IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time spent, and interactions with the Platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Information Sharing

Public Information

Your username, submitted designs, vote counts, and win records are publicly visible. Competition entries are shown with watermarks until voting ends.

Service Providers

We share data with: payment processors (Paystack/Flutterwave), print-on-demand partners (Printful/Printify), email service providers, and hosting providers (Railway/AWS).

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, to prevent fraud, or to protect our rights.

We Never Sell Your Data

Your personal information is not sold to third parties. Period.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures: encrypted passwords (bcrypt), HTTPS for all connections, secure cloud infrastructure, and regular security audits.

However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but continuously work to protect your data.

5. Your Rights

Access & Correction

You can view and update your account information anytime in Profile Settings.

Data Deletion

You can request account deletion by emailing privacy@unofficialng.com. Note: submitted designs remain licensed for existing merchandise, but your personal data will be anonymized.

Marketing Opt-Out

Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any email or in your account settings.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use analytics cookies to understand Platform usage.

You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may affect Platform functionality.

7. Children's Privacy

UNOFFICIAL is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us immediately.

8. International Users

UNOFFICIAL is based in Nigeria. If you access from outside Nigeria, your data may be transferred to and processed in Nigeria.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Major changes will be announced via email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
